This page applies to your use of this website — the pages describing the product and the contact form — and to a demonstration portal if we give you access to one. Using the site means accepting them.

The site is operated by an Australian sole trader trading as RideSpec, ABN 13 264 780 152, of Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia.

How personal information is handled is in the privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.

These terms are not your agreement with us. A RideSpec subscription is set up individually and is governed by a separate written agreement covering the service, what it costs, how your data is handled, who owns what, and what happens if either of us ends it.

Nothing on this website is an offer capable of acceptance, and nothing here creates a subscription. Submitting the contact form starts a conversation — it does not create an account, provision a portal or start a trial.

Ask for the agreement before you commit to anything, and read it rather than this page.

Please do not:

• Submit the contact form with someone else’s details, or with details that are not real.
• Attempt to get around the rate limits, the bot check, or any other protection on the forms.
• Scrape, copy or republish the content of this site or the demonstration catalogue.
• Probe, scan or test the security of the site without asking first. If you want to look, tell us — see the security section — and we will work with you rather than against you.
• Use the site to break a law, or to help anybody else do it.

We may withdraw access from anyone doing these things, and we may change or take down any part of the site at any time.

The demonstration showroom is a fictional business with fictional stock, and it exists so people can see how the product works. It is not open to the public and there is no link to it on this site: like every RideSpec portal it is private, and we give access to it during a demonstration. If you have been given access, this clause is the part that applies to you.

• Nothing in it is for sale, and no order can be placed through it.
• The prices, availability and compatibility statements in it are made up.
• If you upload a photograph to it, it is handled exactly as the privacy policydescribes, and it is deleted on the same schedule. Please do not upload a photograph of somebody else’s vehicle, or one with other people in it.

The text, layout, code and design of this site belong to us. You are welcome to read it, link to it, and quote it when writing about the product. You may not copy it wholesale or present it as your own.

Product names and marks belonging to other businesses appear only to describe what they are. Their appearance is not a claim of affiliation, endorsement or partnership with those businesses.

The site describes what the product does today. It is written to be accurate rather than impressive, and where something is not built the trust page says so.

Three things specifically:

• RideSpec does not verify fitment. A business states which vehicles a product suits, and their statement is displayed attributed to them. We hold no fitment dataset and calculate nothing mechanical.
• A preview is a visual illustration. It is not a measurement, a specification or a representation that a part will fit, and accessory previews are labelled conceptual and not dimensionally exact.
• RideSpec is never the seller. Where a showroom leads to a purchase, the business is the merchant of record and the supplier or installer. We are not a party to that sale.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Where a guarantee applies and cannot be excluded, our liability is limited to what that law allows — which for services generally means resupplying them or paying the cost of having them resupplied.

This website is provided as it is. We take care to keep it accurate and available, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or free of errors.

Subject to the section above, we are not liable for loss arising from your use of this website or from relying on information on it. If you are making a commercial decision, rely on the written agreement and on answers we give you directly, not on a marketing page.

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and the courts of Queensland have jurisdiction.
