YOUR RANGE, IN EVERY SHOP THAT CARRIES IT

You already send retailers a price list, a folder of photographs and a spreadsheet of part numbers, and you already know what happens to them. Publish the range once in RideSpec instead, and every retailer you approve sells from the copy you maintain.

The problem with a price list

A SPREADSHEET IS A COPY, AND EVERY COPY GOES STALE

The catalogue drifts the day you send it

Thirty retailers retype thirty copies of your range. Half list a discontinued finish, a third have last year's price, and none of it is anybody's fault.

Your photography does the work, badly

A studio shot on white sells nothing to somebody who cannot picture it on their own ute. It is the same photograph in every shop, and it is the reason they go away to think about it.

You cannot see where the range is listed

Once a spreadsheet leaves your building it is gone. There is no list of who is showing what, and no way to take a superseded part back off a shelf.

Control

SHARING IT IS NOT THE SAME AS LOSING IT

Handing a retailer your catalogue is a commercial decision, so it is built as one: named, reversible, and yours.

Today the switch is thrown by us, on your instruction — one email or one call per retailer, applied the same day. Suppliers do not administer their own grants yet.

You decide who carries it

Access is granted to one named retailer at a time. Nobody sells your range because they found it — they sell it because you said so.

You can take it back

Withdraw the grant and the range leaves that retailer's portal the same day. Quotes they have already sent keep the prices they were sent with, because a customer holding a written price should still be able to hold you to it.

One correction, everywhere

Change a price, retire a finish, fix a bolt pattern. It is the same catalogue every approved retailer is reading, so it is right in all of them at once.

Their customers stay theirs

You do not see the retailer's enquiries, their customers or their vehicle photographs. The grant is one-way: they read your range, you read nothing of theirs.

What crosses, and what does not

THE LINE IS IN THE DATABASE

Not in the screens, and not in a policy document. A retailer reading your catalogue is a permission the database grants and checks on every query — the same mechanism that stops two retailers reading each other.

SUPPLYING AND SELLING ARE NOT A CHOICE

A supplier can run a branded showroom at the same time as sharing the range — a visualiser on your own site, in your own colours, that hands the customer on to whichever of your stockists suits them.

The two settings are independent, which is deliberate: a manufacturer who wants a visualiser on their marketing site should not have to stop supplying their retailers to get one.

Good candidates

  • Wheel brands with a deep size and finish matrix
  • 4x4 accessory manufacturers whose parts are vehicle-specific
  • Importers and distributors carrying several brands
  • Anyone whose retailers keep asking for updated photography

BRING ONE RANGE AND WE WILL LOAD IT

A spreadsheet, a price list or a link to your website is enough to start with. You will see your own products in a working showroom before you commit to anything.
