How it works
THEIR CAR, YOUR PRODUCT, BEFORE THEY DECIDE
No app to install, no account to create, nothing for your staff to operate. Drag the divider — that is the whole idea, and the rest of this page is how it reaches your customer.
ONE PICTURE INSTEAD OF AN ACT OF IMAGINATION
The customer uploads a photo taken in your car park or pulled off their phone. They pick a product from your catalogue, and it appears on their vehicle in that same photograph — same driveway, same light, same angle.
They can keep going: add a second part to the picture they just made, change the finish, or start again from the original. Every attempt is theirs to download and send to whoever else has to agree to it.
FOUR STEPS, AND YOUR CUSTOMER DOES ALL OF THEM
- 01
They arrive at your showroom
From a link, a QR code on the counter, an ad, or an embed on your own website. No account, no sign-up — the first thing they are asked is what they drive, not for an email address.
- 02
They photograph their vehicle
Taken in the car park or pulled from the phone. The file is screened and re-encoded on the way in, which strips the location data the camera wrote into it.
- 03
They build it
Your catalogue, filtered to their vehicle by the compatibility you have stated. Wheels in the size and finish you actually stock, with your prices.
- 04
They send it to you
A quote request carrying the vehicle, the parts, the sizes, the preview and their notes — or a tracked click straight through to your own checkout.
OR YOUR STAFF DO IT WITH THEM STANDING THERE
Counter mode is the same build, started by your team on your screen. They take the photo, assemble the parts, record the customer’s consent in their own name and file it into the same queue with one button.
It is the version that gets used on a Saturday morning, when the customer has the vehicle with them and twenty minutes.
THE PREVIEW IS A PICTURE, NOT A MEASUREMENT
It is labelled as one everywhere it appears, and the customer reads that label before you do. Every preview is checked against the product it is meant to show before it reaches them, and one that fails gets a corrected attempt — but an accessory preview is conceptual, and it says so.
RideSpec has no fitment dataset and does not pretend to one. Which vehicles a product suits is your statement, made in your catalogue, and the showroom presents it as yours. The expertise sits with you, so the claim does too — see what we do not claim.
FOUR THINGS IT WOULD BE EASY TO IMPLY AND WRONG TO
Does RideSpec check that a part fits?
No. You state which vehicles a product suits, as part of your catalogue, and the showroom shows that as your statement — “Your Shop lists this as fitting your vehicle”. We have no fitment dataset, and asserting one we cannot stand behind is misleading conduct.
Is the preview accurate enough to order from?
It is a picture, not a measurement. Every preview is reviewed against the product it is meant to show before it reaches the customer, and one that fails gets a corrected attempt — but accessory previews are labelled conceptual and not dimensionally exact, because that is what they are.
Does RideSpec take a cut of the sale?
No. RideSpec is never the seller and never the merchant of record. Payment happens on your website, between you and your customer, and we are not in it.
Can I sign up online right now?
No, and that is deliberate. Every business is set up with us — catalogue, branding, compatibility, links — and tested before it goes live. A portal that launches half-built costs you more than the wait.
BRING ONE PRODUCT AND ONE PHOTO
We will load them while you watch, and you will see the picture before the first call ends.
